The Gameplay for CryptoCars was considered one of the simplest and the most fun-to-play games in the NFT GameFi industry. We not only focus on the economy of how to balance between inflow and outflow of the tokens inside the game, but also the joyfulness and excitement to play is our main concentration as well.

CryptoCars V2 (CCAR2) in a nutshell
CryptoCars V2 (CCAR2) is the native token of the blockchain based play-to-earn (P2E) Crypto Cars version 2 gaming ecosystem. It is a BEP-20 token created on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC), as the game is also deployed on the same blockchain. The token allows users to purchase in-game NFT-based assets such as cars, accessories, license plates, fuel, upgrades and more. You can also use CCAR2 tokens for staking or trading on DEXs, and for purchasing various car-related materials within the game.
At the time of writing this review, the maximum total supply of CCAR2 stood at 1,000,000,000 tokens, and no information was available regarding its circulating supply or market capitalisation.
Tokenomics of CCAR
While no information is currently available regarding the tokenomics of the newly issued CCAR2 tokens, many believe the allocation proportions may remain similar to the original CCAR tokens. A major shift that has come about in the version 2 is the total supply volume of the CCAR2 tokens. While the maximum total supply of CCAR was 100 million tokens, in case of CCAR2, it has been increased to 1 billion tokens.
The tokenomics of the CCAR token as per the last update available on its official website, is as follows:
Play 2 Earn: 47%
Pre Sale: 4%
Public Sale: 8%
Core Team: 12%
Platform Development: 8%
Dex LP: 4%
Has CryptoCars V2 been audited and doxxed?
Yes. Since the version 1 of the Crypto Cars project was audited by Verichains, it can be deduced that the Crypto Cars V2 is also an audited project. However, no separate audit report is available as yet for the version 2. Detailed review of CryptoCars V2 (CCAR2)
Crypto Cars game is themed on the popular 2006 American film ‘Cars.’ It was a computer-animated sports comedy movie, produced by Pixar Animation Studios and released under the Walt Disney Pictures branding.
The game is mainly targeted at male players, as developers believe they are the primary audience for intensive racing and role-playing games, especially in the player vs player mode. The blockchain model is used to bring in more uniqueness and speciality to the cars.
On offer are multiple racing modes including the virtual racing mode, player vs computer mode (PvC), player vs player mode (PvP) and car racing tournaments. The game has well-over 600,000 players and almost an equal number of cars. The developers behind the Crypto Cars game are the same people who have worked for popular gaming projects like Genshin and Gameloft.
Virtual Racing Mode
Player vs Computer Mode
In order to get started with the game, you must first connect your wallet to the Crypto Cars portal and deposit funds in the form of CCAR2 tokens. These tokens can be purchased from PancakeSwap (V2) at the time of press. Additional platforms like AOFEX, LBank and Gate.io were available for CCAR tokens and are expected to list CCAR2 soon too. Once you have CCAR2 in your wallet, they can be easily transferred to the Crypto Cars game.
We’d like to re-emphasise that as of writing, Crypto Cars game requires a deposit of CCAR2 tokens to play the game. These tokens are reportedly of the version 2 of the Crypto Cars game and can be easily bought with either the older CCAR tokens or any other crypto, through the platforms listed above. CCAR was trading at $0.023 (CoinMarketCap), whereas CCAR2 was exchanging hands at $0.0003 (Nomics) at the time of writing.
Please note, while the developers have laid great emphasis on offering unique racing modes to the players, at the core, this game is a play-to-earn variant, where at present, you cannot expect a very high-end car racing experience, as is often seen in other regular racing games. Apparently, one can only participate in virtual car races right now, with the entire Crypto Cars and Crypto City metaverse still under development.
Hence, as of writing, you don’t actually get to race per se, but just take part in a virtual race and wait for the game to complete and show you the result. In addition, depending on where you come out on the leaderboard, you are rewarded with an appropriate amount of CCAR2 tokens.
Each car is a BEP-721 standard NFT asset, ranked based on 4 statistic points:
A Wide Variety of NFT Cars
The game has its own marketplace where you can browse through various car types available and buy and sell cars, with CCAR2 tokens.
On display are also multiple car workshops that have already been sold, which can be seen in a 3D environment to get a good idea of how the Crypto City will eventually look like.
When you log into the game first, you’re expected to either buy a car from the marketplace, or invest in a new blind box, which can unveil a car of any rarity level. As per the blind box’s description there’s a 10% chance of landing a rare car and newly unboxed cars cannot be put on sale for at least 15 days. The blind box was priced 600 CCAR at the time of writing.
The cars require fuel to race, and you can refill fuel for a certain CCAR2 fee, once every day. This fee was 2 CCAR2 at the time of writing. Each time a car runs in a virtual race, it spends 15 fuel. The fuel capacity being different for cars of different rarity, you can race more number of times if you have a rarer car. To give you an idea, Common cars have a fuel capacity of 60 (and thus can take part in 4 races per day), Classic cars 60, Super cars 75 and Rare cars have 90 fuel capacity (6 races per day).
Players who win races are rewarded with CCAR2 tokens, experience points (EXP) and materials. Gaining enough experience points can help in utilising materials to upgrade the car level. Such an upgrade will cause an increase in the car’s basic statistics (Speed, Fuel, Drift and Power)
On the whole Crypto Cars serves as an exciting P2E game that comes with the promise of delivering a quick break-even point, followed by attractive ROI.
Where to buy CryptoCars V2?
You can buy CryptoCars V2 token from a handful of centralised (CEX) or decentralised (DEX) crypto exchange platforms. However, as Crypto Cars is a fairly new game, and has quite some ground to cover before establishing itself as a sustainable and popular P2E metaverse, there aren’t many choices when it comes to places where you can easily buy or sell this token. Few of the portals where you can actively buy CryptoCars V2 include PancakeSwap (V2). There’s also a possibility that it may soon be available on Gate.io, Hoo and BKEX too, as those platforms listed its predecessor CCAR.
It’s worth noting that buying crypto coins from DEX portals works quite differently compared to CEX platforms, as the former don’t require buyers/sellers to fulfil any mandatory KYC (Know Your Customer) formalities. Centralised crypto exchanges make it necessary for all users to pass through strict KYC processes, in compliance with international Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Countering the Financing of Terrorism (CFT) laws.
Alternatively, CCAR2 tokens can also be purchased from P2P (peer-to-peer) platforms that are well known for facilitating cash purchases. Most crypto exchanges permit purchases with third-party wallets, credit/debit cards and bank transfers. That said, it’s always a good idea to check with the exchange portal first.
What can you do with the CryptoCars V2?
Hodl CCAR2 for the long-term: Considering how P2E (Play-to-Earn) games are gaining huge popularity these days, it may not be a bad idea to invest in CCAR2 tokens and hold on to them for the long-term. Even though the game is experiencing a bumpy ride at the time of writing, there’s a good likelihood that it’ll come back strong, offering handsome ROI to CCAR2 hodlers.
Buy in-game NFT assets – CCAR2, being the native token of Crypto Cars game can be used to buy various types of in-game NFT assets and car upgrades.
Stake CCAR2 – There may be a possibility to stake CCAR2 tokens as well, and earn handsome rewards for it. Not to forget the bonus whitelisting for many game-related events and draws.
Swap CCAR2 with other tokens – There’s another option to swap your CCAR2 tokens with other popular cryptocurrencies on portals like PancakeSwap. Below-provided are more details in this regard.
How to swap CCAR2 with other altcoins?
It’s easy to swap your CCAR2 tokens with another cryptocurrency, using a well-known decentralised exchange platform like PancakeSwap V2. All you need to do is simply connect your crypto wallet to the DEX platform and use the available trading pairs like CCAR2/BUSD, CCAR2/BNB, CCAR2/ETH, CCAR2/BTC etc. to execute the swap.
Please bear in mind that such a transaction may attract a small fee which must be accounted-for beforehand. The exchanged crypto coins will get credited to the same wallet.
How to buy CCAR2?
Although CCAR2 tokens can be bought only on PancakeSwap V2 at the time of writing, the promise and popularity of Crypto Cars version 1 will most likely lead to CCAR2 getting listed on multiple centralised exchanges too, in the times to come. We have already delved into how you can buy or swap CCAR2 at decentralised exchanges. Let’s now go over the process of buying them from CEX portals, whenever they become available there.
It’s important to note that buying CCAR2 on any centralised exchange will involve registering and opening an account with that platform first. Thereafter, you’ll be required to fulfil some KYC formalities to actively use the platform’s services. Below-listed are the steps you’ll need to follow:
- Make use of the ‘Open Account’ or ‘Register’ button on the platform’s homepage, to begin the registration process.
- Enter your personal details, like your first name, last name, country, email address, phone number and a preferred password to move on to the next step.
- Read the platform’s terms & conditions, followed by clicking the provided button, or checking the corresponding box, to agree to them. You’ll then receive an email with the instructions to complete the KYC verification process.
- The identity verification process can be initiated either from the platform’s dashboard or using the link provided in the email mentioned in the previous step. Most exchanges require users to upload a copy of their government-issued photo ID card as well as a residence proof to comply. Some may even ask you to upload your pic holding up the same documents. Please note, though this procedure may seem cumbersome to many, it’s essential for the platform users’ financial safety.
- You can deposit funds to your newly created exchange account, post KYC verification. Usually centralised crypto exchanges permit fiat deposits through multiple mediums including third-party processors, fund transfer, PayPal and debit/credit cards. Funds can be deposited in cryptocurrencies too by following the provided instructions.
- Make the CCAR2 purchase by opting for a preferred trading pair like CCAR2/BUSD, CCAR2/USDT, CCAR2/BNB, CCAR2/BTC etc.
As of writing, there was no information of any upcoming events or launches related to Crypto Cars version 2. However, since the game is still in the transition phase from version 1 to 2, more updates can be expected soon in this regard.
